Terms of service

Last updated: August 4, 2026

Tracetify (“we”, “the service”) analyses how products got their first users, using publicly available data. By creating an account or purchasing credits you agree to these terms.

The service

You paste a domain; we collect data about it from third-party public sources (backlink indexes, traffic estimators, community archives, web archives, ad transparency centers, and similar) and assemble it into a report. Reports are generated on request and reflect what those sources returned at that moment.

Credits

Starting a trace, unlocking a timeline, and generating a verdict each cost 10 credits. Credits never expire. New accounts receive 20 credits free. Credit purchases are one-time and non-transferable.

If a trace or a verdict fails to complete, the credits you spent on it are refunded automatically. Beyond that, credit purchases are generally non-refundable — if something went wrong, write to support@tracetify.com and we will sort it out.

Unlimited subscription and fair use

The Unlimited plan ($99/month) removes credit costs for traces, unlocks, and verdicts. It is intended for normal human use: up to 30 fresh traces per calendar day. Reading existing reports and unlocking them is never capped. Automated or scripted usage that circumvents this limit may result in suspension. You can cancel any time; access continues until the end of the paid period.

Reports are public

The data layer of every report is public and may be viewed by anyone, indexed by search engines, and listed in our report library. Paid unlocks (full timeline, verdict) remain tied to the purchasing account. If you believe a report about your own product contains unlawful content, contact us and we will review it.

Acceptable use

Do not use the service to harass, to violate others’ rights, or to probe, scrape, or overload our infrastructure. We may suspend accounts that abuse free quotas, payment flows, or the fair-use policy.

Data accuracy

Reports aggregate third-party data and are provided as-is, without warranty of completeness or accuracy. When a source fails, the report says so. Verdicts are analytical opinions with stated confidence levels, not facts or professional advice. Do not make investment decisions based solely on a report.

Changes

We may update these terms as the product evolves; material changes will be noted on this page with a new date. Continued use after a change means you accept it.
