Why these tools exist

AI search changed what a page has to be. A crawler that feeds ChatGPT or Perplexity needs to reach the page, parse it without running scripts, and find a passage clean enough to quote with attribution. None of that shows up in a classic SEO audit, which still grades page speed, backlinks and keyword density.

So the AI SEO tools here each fill one gap. The visibility checker answers the reachability question: which of the 21 AI crawlers we track can fetch this page, and what do they read once there. The difficulty checker answers the selection question: before you write anything, is this keyword one a new site can actually win. An AI SEO agent that plans your pages needs both numbers, and SEO automation that skips them just publishes faster into the void.

The paid layer

Behind the free tools sits the dashboard: domain overview, backlinks, site audit, competitor monitoring and the SEO agent that reads your Search Console. Same credits, same rule about citing sources. See what each one costs →

Questions, answered

Anything else — support@tracetify.com

Are these tools really free?

The AI visibility checker runs without an account. The keyword difficulty checker needs a free account because each lookup calls a paid data provider; new accounts come with enough credits for several lookups, and no card is required.

Where does the data come from?

Crawler access is read straight from your robots.txt and page HTML. Keyword volume comes from Google Ads Keyword Planner and difficulty from DataForSEO Labs. Every result names its source, and cached results are marked as cached.

Do I need an account?

Not for the visibility checker. For anything that spends credits you sign in first, so the credits have somewhere to live. The same account works in the dashboard, the Chrome extension and the MCP server.

Can an AI agent use these tools?

Yes. The same checks are exposed as MCP tools, so Claude Code, Cursor or any MCP client can call them with your API key. The MCP page lists every tool and what it costs before you call it.
